Armored Collective provides chauffeured armored SUV rental in Las Vegas, operating B4 to B5 Chevrolet Suburbans and Cadillac Escalade ESVs with vetted security drivers across the valley. Las Vegas is an event city and that shapes everything about how ground transport works here.
Demand is not steady. It spikes hard around major conventions, fight weekends and the Grand Prix, and during those windows every credible operator in the city is committed weeks out. The work divides between principals attending events under published schedules, where the venue and the hour are known to anyone who cares to look, and movements of high-value items where the transfer itself is the exposure rather than the route.
Harry Reid International (LAS) is unusually close to the Strip, often under fifteen minutes, and it has a substantial private aviation operation on the west side of the field.
North Las Vegas (VGT) and Henderson Executive (HND) serve general aviation. Henderson suits anyone staying south of the Strip or in Lake Las Vegas.
| From | To | Typical | Peak |
|---|---|---|---|
| Harry Reid (LAS) | Strip resorts | 15 min | 35 min |
| Harry Reid (LAS) | Summerlin | 30 min | 45 min |
| Henderson (HND) | Strip resorts | 25 min | 40 min |
| Strip | Convention Center | 10 min | 30 min |
| Strip | Summerlin | 25 min | 40 min |
| Strip | Red Rock | 35 min | 50 min |
| Las Vegas | Grand Canyon West | 150 min | 180 min |
The drive from Harry Reid airport to the Strip typically takes about fifteen minutes and can reach thirty-five during a major event. Strip to the Convention Center typically takes about ten minutes outside event weeks and considerably longer during them.
The Strip and the resort corridor, downtown and Fremont, Summerlin, Henderson, Lake Las Vegas, Southern Highlands and the convention corridor. Grand Canyon West and Death Valley are arranged as day movements with notice.
Resort access is the real constraint. A movement between two Strip properties looks trivial on a map and is not, because the resort access roads, porte-cochère queues and restrictions on where a full-size SUV may wait can add more time than the drive itself. We confirm the specific entrance with the property before the movement.
The Formula 1 Grand Prix in November closes sections of the Strip for track build and race operations across multiple weeks, not just the race weekend. Ground movement across the resort corridor during that period is substantially different from normal and needs planning rather than assumption.
Summer heat regularly exceeds forty degrees Celsius. It is an equipment consideration for an armored vehicle carrying additional weight, and vehicles here are specified and maintained for it.
Further ahead than anywhere else we cover. CES in January, the Formula 1 weekend in November and any major fight weekend commit the entire city's supply of vehicles and vetted drivers weeks in advance. Conventions at the main centers do the same on a smaller scale throughout the year.
Nevada licenses for-hire passenger carriers at state level and enforcement in Clark County is active. Ask any operator to confirm its Nevada authority. Ask separately for the armoring certificate for the assigned unit and the standard it was tested to.
Armored Collective runs one vehicle platform type deliberately. The armored Chevrolet Suburban and the bulletproof Cadillac Escalade ESV are the most common large SUVs on American and Mexican roads, which means an armored one does not announce itself. Both hold their third row with armor fitted, so a principal, a security driver and a protection detail fit without splitting the party across vehicles. For multi-vehicle movements and motorcades we run matched units so the package looks like one fleet, not three rentals.

Armor level is not a status ladder. Every level up adds weight, slows the vehicle, and wears the brakes and suspension faster. The correct answer is the lowest level that covers the threat you actually face.
Ballistic components in Armored Collective vehicles are rated to EN 1063 for transparent armor and to VPAM APR for opaque armor. EN 1063 is a component standard, not a vehicle standard: it classifies glazing, not finished cars. The only standard that certifies a complete assembled vehicle, including joints, overlaps and glazing interfaces, is VPAM BRV. Ask any provider which standard and which edition was used, which components were tested, and whether the certificate covers the specific unit or the fleet in general. We will send the certificate for the unit assigned to you.
.44 Remington Magnum and lower handgun threats. The common civilian choice where carjacking or an opportunistic approach is the primary concern, and equivalent to what the Mexican market calls Nivel III, which accounts for the large majority of armored vehicles in the country.
5.56 x 45mm NATO. Intermediate rifle threats. Note that EN 1063 does not include 7.62 x 39mm in its test series. If AK-pattern rifles are in your threat profile, ask for a VPAM VR6 certificate rather than a B5 rating.
We do not operate B6 or B7. B6 is tested against 7.62 x 51mm NATO and carries a real penalty in weight, acceleration and braking. If your risk assessment calls for that level, tell us and we will say so rather than sell you something that does not meet it.
